Privacy policy for the P-Expo website and application: local storage, permissions, sharing and rights.
Data protection
Data controller
The controller for processing related to the P-Expo website is Thierry Passerat, a sole trader operating as Paroptik, 42 avenue du Président-Kennedy, 88300 Neufchâteau, France. Requests may be sent by post or through the website’s Contact page.
Data processed by the website
The website is static: it creates no account, has no submission form and uses no advertising, audience analytics or tracker requiring consent. When the site is viewed, the hosting provider may process the IP address, date, requested URL and technical browser information in its logs solely to deliver and secure the service.
Data stored by the application
P-Expo stores on the device the visit journals, artworks, notes, photographs, audio recordings, transcripts, venues and preferences created by the user. The camera, photo library, microphone, speech recognition and location are accessed only after a user action and iOS permission. Paroptik does not receive this content, use it to track the user or sell it.
Online search, Apple services and sharing
Online searching for an official source is off by default. If the user enables it and requests an address, the relevant third-party site receives the standard technical data of a web request, including the IP address. Dictation, speech recognition, device backup and any system services are governed by Apple’s settings and terms. PDF, CSV or archive exports and their sharing are always initiated by the user.
Retention and security
Application content remains on the device until the user deletes it, removes the application or restores the device; a system backup may retain a copy according to Apple settings. Netlify may retain technical logs in accordance with its policies, including for service security and operation. P-Expo contains no advertising or profiling mechanism.
Your rights
For any data that may be held by Paroptik or the hosting provider, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection where those rights apply. Content stored only locally can be accessed and deleted directly in the application or on the device. A complaint may be lodged with the French data protection authority, the CNIL. Policy updated on 8 October 2026.
